About 17 million years ago, one of the largest volcanic vents of the Swabian Volcano. More than 350 eruption sites are known and still shape large parts of the landscape in this region today. On this short tour, you experience impressively the formation history of the Swabian Alb, beautiful beech forests, dreamlike views to the Black Forest, as well as a species-rich flora and fauna.
