Start from Lago di Fontanabianca (Weissbrunnsee) at the end of Val d'Ultimo.
We follow trail 140 which in about 2h leads to Rifugio Canziani at Lago Verde at 2561m. A hundred meters after the Rifugio we leave trail 140 and turn left onto 139 following the tracks on the debris (we tread on fresh snow fallen the previous evening).
