Tue, 31.05.2022 Grand Canyon NP, Clear Creek Trail & South Kaibab Trail up

I am awake early today and break down my tent around 5:30 AM. Then I pack everything together. The thermometer at the info board shows 20 °C. I walk to the Phantom Ranch canteen. I booked the late breakfast. At 6:30 AM we can pick it up at the window. I eat again with the 3 gentlemen from last night. As usual on the large tables in the canteen there are scrambled eggs, pancakes, sausages, orange juice and coffee, only the canned peaches are missing, instead there is an orange.
