Description: Bali is defined as the Island of the Gods and you can already perceive why at the first impact… the Balinese have a deep attachment to Balinese Hinduism, and rites and ceremonies are practiced daily with prayers and votive offerings called “canang sari”: they are palm leaf baskets created every day by the expert hands of women, containing fresh and fragrant flowers of various types representing the different deities, as well as food and some coins to the Gods… then incense is lit and prayers are directed to both good and evil spirits, and they can be found outside houses, temples, along the road, on the beach and in many other unimaginable places… at any moment of the day and in any place you are, there is the recurring presence of religiosity, spirituality and a certain mysticism that surrounds the Balinese and involves the tourist as well...
