The desire simmered for a long time and this year it finally came true! We conquered Triglav! We set off early in the morning from the Krma Valley and spent the first night at Dom Planika pod Triglavom. After lunch came an afternoon hike to Kredarica, and as soon as it got dark, we fell asleep. The next day we set the alarm very early, waited for sunrise, and climbed via Mali Triglav to Slovenia's highest peak. The feeling at the top was indescribable, and since we went midweek, there wasn't excessive crowding. Now we can boast that we're 'real' Slovenians.
