Description:
The Matik from Camp is a bit heavy, but it features an anti-panic function and solid construction. Those who prefer thicker single ropes over 9.4 mm are poorly advised with the Matik. Rope feeding then becomes torture and you quickly lose the fun. With modern thin ropes around 9 mm, the device plays to its strengths and reacts very well. The quick release using the revolver grip takes getting used to and requires corresponding practice.
