From Enzianhütte parking lot 1200m (Rossfeldstraße) left past Enzianhütte (sign Purtschellerhaus) to the start of the wide meadow slope. Then left on the forest road further towards Eckeralmen. From ca. 1390m leave the forest path and over Eckerleiten to Eckeralmen. After the alm huts the slope gradually steepens again. The initially wide forest clearing, finally through loose larch stand up to Purtschellerhaus, 1692 m.
