Description:
We start in Tumpen at the parking lot by the school. A short asphalt stretch to the last house in the village, then the forest path leads steeply in serpentines through the forest uphill. We briefly admire the cascades of the Tumpener Wasserfall. The view opens up as we pass the vordere Tumpenalm. The path becomes really rocky. The hintere Alm is still closed. From here trails lead to Erlacher Hütte or over Karköpfe. On the way back we stop at Armelen Hütte and enjoy the treats.
