Description: We started at the Bismarckgrotte near Rinnenbrunn for cave exploration.
100 years of cave traversal have left their traces and significantly damaged it. The cave should only be visited accompanied by cave experts and with appropriate equipment due to its branches and some demanding climbing sections. Usually, the cave is traversed from the south shaft. After descending about 20 meters, you reach a sediment hall. Via a sloping tube, narrow passages and shafts, you reach the Gothic passages. Subsequently, you arrive in the largest room of the cave near the north entrance. The room is about 45 meters long, 10 meters wide and up to 15 meters high. From there, further parts of the cave can be explored, which are however partly very narrow.
