The bergfried with its observation platform is accessible via an impressive metal structure with steps and offers a magnificent view over the Donaubecken and the hilly landscape of the Mühlviertel and at the same time an overview of the castle complex with its stately and impressive size. No wonder it is one of the largest castle ruins in Upper Austria. A truly rewarding and interesting excursion destination.
