29.01.2023 started from Pescegallo (SO) upper Val Gerola follow the right road skirting the ski slope, with Rocca di Pescegallo always well visible... around -4,-5 degrees.. always keep the right side of the valley until Passo Salmurano, from where the Camosci channel is visible in the distance, traverse to its start and then climb.. about 60 meters with max slope 50°. once out go right above the plateau to Rifugio Benigni 2222m... descending we pass Rifugio Salmurano for lunch... Val Gerola never disappoints.. easy hike but great satisfaction... panorama on all Orobie, Bernina group, Disgrazia, Pizzo Badile, Cengalo etc.
