Description:
Sonnegg is located on a flat forested hill in the municipality of Sittersdorf south of Eberndorf. From the few remaining wall remnants, one can no longer recognize that a mighty castle once stood here, which was continuously expanded from the Romanesque to the Renaissance period. Ultimately, Sonnegg was one of the largest castles in Carinthia.
