The Friedenrath (1432 m) is a fantastic vantage point. From its rocky summit, Lake Chiemsee lies literally at one's feet. Since the path on the summit ascent is neither signposted nor marked and also requires some surefootedness, the route to Friedenrath is less frequented compared to the opposite Hochplatte.
