Description: Today, April 12, on the mountains of the Brescian shore of Lake Garda. We leave the cars at 'La Milanesa', a well-known spot in Limone, where we will return from above once the circular hike is completed. We descend (8:15 a.m.) into the village via a walkable path along the Torrente San Giovanni. Then we cross the entire beautiful village, skirting the lake shore until the trail takes us to the 'Strada Gardesana' towards Riva. Opposite begins the 'Sentiero del Sole' which rises steeply up to 'Cima Larici' (907 m – 10:40 a.m.). Then we take trail 422B to 'Malga Palaer' – 'Passo Rocchetta' and 'Baita Segala', making a short detour to 'Punta Mughera' which is a spectacular balcony over Garda. Arriving at 'Bivacco Segala' (12:35 p.m.) managed by the Alpini and always open (self-service), we refuel at the found lit fire and with good coffee. Regaining strength we take (the sign 'Limone 104 bis' is nearby) the descent through the valley of 'Torrente San Giovanni' rich in water, also adorned by an idyllic waterfall. We end our hike at 'Milanesa' at 3:15 p.m.
