Demanding hike following the South-East Ridge of Monte Pizzocolo.
Monte Pizzocolo is located on the Brescian shore of Lake Garda, in the Parco Alto Garda Bresciano, dominating the town of Toscolano Maderno. It is a panoramic peak, the southernmost on the Lombard side of Lake Garda, offering a splendid view of the lake and more: Ortles, Monte Baldo, and Adamello can be admired. The route we propose is not for everyone, as the South-East Ridge section (former East Ridge) is suitable for expert hikers; in several points you have to climb on rock and need a steady step and no vertigo. For those who don't feel up to it, just take trail 287 and reach the summit comfortably.
