Description:
The Mascabroni couloir is a splendid slope dropping almost from Cima Undici summit in Popera group to Sentinella pass. From Val Fiscalina we reach the pass without meeting anyone, greeted by sun on a cold mid-May Saturday. We ascend the couloir but snow is variable, wind-affected, so no ski descent from top. Panorama is marvellous, suspended between sky and earth. With me on ridge Marco and Paolo.
