The circuit around the mythical Pic de Midi d'Ossau is a true classic of Pyrenean hiking.
Start from Lago de Bious-Artiges in French Pyrenees. Soon reach detour to Ayous lakes. We take left path marked Pombie par Peyreget. Cross spectacular Bious plain and right see path zigzagging decisively up steep slope. To reach it cross river. Continue to Peyreget lake then through chaotic loose rock ravine and grassy slope to Peyreget col.
