Description:
This trip we take a breathtaking Hike through Colorado National Monument located in Grand Junction Colorado close to my new home! We ascend an improbable trail etched into steep colorful cliff sides on our way up to Liberty Cap, a huge ancient petrified Sand Dune. From there we continue on relatively flat ground on the mesa top heading to Otto's Bathtub. This section of trail skirts cool cliffs as it makes its way to a striking stone bridge leading out onto a cliff- rimmed peninsula where Otto's Bathtub can be found on its western edge.
