Access negotiations are one of the most important jobs the BMC does. Careful negotiations are sometimes needed to make a landowner comfortable with climbers and walkers being on their property.
This is one story about how BMC Access volunteer Andi Turner met and talked with the owner of Staffordshire's mythical Wicken Stones, ending up in the landowner, John, being okay with climbers in his garden.
