Departure from Chiareggio at 15:30, we arrive at Bivacco Oggioni at 20:00; dinner based on pre-cooked risotto, various cold cuts and bread, a nice cup of tea and off to sleep ready for the next day.
Wake up at 4:00, we prepare a substantial breakfast and at 5:00 we head for the summit, we decide to proceed unroped and so at 8:30 we are at the summit where a strong wind awaits us!! From here we descend along the normal route until we reach Predarossa around 12:00, with a bit of luck we hitchhike to S. Martino where we can finally enjoy a well-deserved beer!!!
