Description:
The Kulmchrachen is a somewhat forgotten route on Pilatus leading in various variants through the northeast side of the mountain to the summit. Daredevils climb it even in summer, from my perspective, it only makes sense in winter and spring when rockfall risk is low. Depending on variant, different difficulties. The shown Kulmplateau variant has max about 50 degrees steepness. No belay options on the route, a rope only helps a bit if you carry pitons.
