Description:
We parked at Masieta, a space located on the north side of Congost de Mont-rebei set up as an information and visitor control point. Our main purpose is to hike the gorge route first along the new path and try to return along the old path, taking advantage of the low reservoir level due to the persistent drought we are experiencing. However, we want to take the opportunity, since we are passing by, to visit Cova Colomera. Searching for cave information, we observed that there is a metal fence at its entrance and that an archaeological prospecting campaign had been conducted inside. Doubting if we could enter, we searched the internet, particularly the entity promoting these studies, to check the possibility. Fundació Catalunya la Pedrera - Xarxa Espais Natura. Finding no references or regulations on possible cave entry, we proceeded with the excursion and evaluated the possibility on site.
