Description:
From Vezza d’Oglio through Val Paghera, due to icy road, we parked just before Ponte Scalvino at 1150 m, continuing on foot to Rifugio alla Cascata (1453 m), passing Pornina (1734 m). With snowshoes on, we emerged from the conifer woods into a wonderful landscape of clarity and views, soon reaching Cresta di Salì at 2303 m.
