ORCIA this the ancient name of Norchia, today nothing remains of the city of the living. With the defeat of the Etruscans the Roman people arrived and Norchia became part of the municipality of Tarquinia the ancient route connecting Orcia with Tuscania and Blera was resumed and widened by the Romans who built the Via Clodia connecting Saturnia with Rome and right here at Norchia it crosses the Biedano river to enter a beautiful CAVA road of about 400 meters.
