Day Tour to Zugspitze (2962m) via Höllental and Stopselzieher

Description:
A really beautiful, rewarding long tour. Up from Hammersbach over the Höllentalklamm to the Höllentalangerhütte. Then you continue into the Höllental until you stand in front of a rock wall covered with iron brackets. Here begins the so-called Brett Leiter Steig, which leads to the Grünen Buckel. From here, it's straightforward to the Höllentalferner. Over the small glacier, which still had good firn cover, to the bergschrund, which luckily was still closed. From here starts the Höllental climbing path for the last about 500m. And then you're already at Germany's highest point.
