Video dedicated to the ascent of one of the most beautiful and interesting mountains in the Schilthorn - Galehorn - Magehorn Group. Outing with snowshoes, ice axe and crampons, excellent snow conditions and perfect weather day! We attempted first time early December but were stopped by very strong incessant wind, this time everything went perfectly and we greatly enjoyed the day and the outing! Some technical data. Elevation gain: 1080 m. Difficulty: BR/F. Times: about 4 hours ascent, 3 hours descent. Snowshoes to base of North Ridge of Sirwoltehorn, then ice axe and crampons to summit, ridge steep in places requiring attention, especially with unsettled snow. Outing on 29-12-2016.
