Another great classic on Pale di San Martino...Rifugio Velo della Madonna.
To reach it we chose two via ferratas on the way up and the normal route on the way down. We started from San Martino di Castrozza (although you can also start from Malga Civertaghe) and via trail 721 reached the start of the Via Ferrata della Vecia (trail 739) leading to the junction between Via Ferrata Porton and Via Ferrata Velo. At that point we chose to do Via Ferrata Velo (still marked as trail 739) leading to Rifugio Velo.
