On the second day of the excursion, we took the cable car up Marmolada, the highest peak of the Dolomites, the only one with a permanent glacier in this massif. We had sunny weather that allowed us to admire the beauty of the Dolomites from the greatest height. Then we visited the village of Sottoguda, where we tasted ice cream and traditional cakes. Next we climbed Passo Fedaia - 2057m to admire Lago Fedaia. On the way home we also stopped at Alleghe, a picturesque resort on the shore of the lake of the same name.
