At Drachenwand, directly above the blue waters of Mondsee, lies one of the via ferrata highlights near Salzburg. The long pleasure via ferrata is never really difficult but should not be underestimated due to the 560 climbing meters. From the summit, enjoy the fantastic panoramic view over the lake region to the mostly snow-covered peaks of the Dachstein massif. After a break on the summit rocks, you can look down to Mondsee through the so-called Drachenloch on the descent.
