A team of photographers managed to fly a drone over Everest at over 9,200 meters in May 2022. The 8KRAW team, including Yuanzong, founder of the Chinese company, reached the Everest summit at dawn on May 27. Several drones and helicopters have flown over Himalaya and Karakorum peaks in recent years. But never this high.
