On a warm summer day in June this year, I set out for Ebner Joch. A tour that can be completed in just over 5 hours and makes no great demands - assuming some fitness of course. In the upper section, also a bit of surefootedness with the simplest requirements. The Astenau-Alpe (1483m) is highly recommended, great food and a very friendly host. I start at the parking lot in Eben (day ticket 2022 - 8€), cross the road there and hike into the forest. In total, 1000 Hm and 7.2km to cover.
