Description:
Built on a rock that partially drops vertically to the Thaya, the remains of this rather small castle complex are located. The castle began to decay from the 16th century due to lack of maintenance. In the 19th century, a large part of the south front collapsed into the Thaya. Nevertheless, the ruin is in a relatively good state of preservation, allowing visitors to explore various buildings, building parts, and wall remnants. Even a relatively well-preserved kitchen building with two round arch openings and a pyramid-shaped chimney is present.
