Timeline of books in which Slovenian alpinists described their expeditions to eight-thousanders, providing an overview of a literary genre that is as popular at home as Slovenian achievements in the Himalaya are recognized internationally. Among the presented books are also translations of foreign classics of mountaineering literature that most influenced alpinism and writing in Slovenia. For contextualization, excerpts from the timeline Slovenian Mountaineering Through Time (https://zgodovina.pzs.si/) are added, created by Peter Mikša, conceptualized and edited by Borut Peršolja.
