Description: Elbrus, the highest European and Caucasian peak at 5642 meters.
Elbrus is an inactive volcano located in the western Caucasus, in the Russian autonomous republic of Kabardino-Balkaria, a few kilometers from the border with Georgia. Elbrus has two peaks: eastern and western. The western peak is also the highest, namely 5642 meters, while the eastern is a few meters lower, i.e. 5621 meters.
