Description:
The Hohe Kisten in the Estergebirge is definitely a rewarding destination. A beautiful mountain tour with alpine character that one wouldn't expect so close to Munich.
From Eschenlohe, the scenic summit is reachable in about 4 hours. We choose the Hahnbichlsteig through Pustertal for the ascent. For the descent, we take the forest path in the lower part.
