General:
The recent Ferrata delle Aquile is a via ferrata that develops on the southeast side of Cima La Paganella along a rocky ridge with a fairly unique layout. The via ferrata starts with a descent, then follows a long and exposed ledge, and then ascends. The via ferrata has excellent equipment and features two suspension bridges and two original helical ladders in a variant of the ascent route. Caution in summer months due to overcrowding.
