Resin-impregnated wood (Fatwood) is an excellent tinder for lighting a fire and is usually obtained from Pine trees (Pinaceae - Pinus).
In this video I tried to find fatwood in Firs (Pinaceae - Abies) and compared it with fatwood from a Pine. Enjoy the view.
