27/03/2022 No more snow in the region for two months.. south no more snow or almost, north how will it be? In doubt, common sense prevails for most and migration to high Austrian altitudes is the popular choice. Remains the doubt whether early rise or go check ours.. and we decide to aim for Forca del Forame. Snow cover excellent, car to 1100m and skis on immediately.. but how about the steep north? We notice on the right of the valley the sun kissing the nice slopes under Forcella della Vacca.. and as often happens, at the last we opt for tour change, Vacca first then Pecora, to link a thousand for sufficiency... but then reality check. The ascent to Forcella delle Vacche makes us fold for milder intentions, given the snow conditions still untransformed on north, and the choice is soon made: instead of the 'two' saddles we opt for 'i 7 picchi' restaurant with sunny terrace..........
