Description:
Starting from Ponte di Ru Popena near Malga Popena, take the winter track of path 222 that winds along Val Popena. A marker indicates the junction with path 222a leading towards Val delle Barache, at the base of the gully where the summer normal route begins, climb the snow gully on the right with increasing slope. We found an exposed jump that shouldn't be there in good conditions, after passing it we finally reach Forcella delle Bance, from there if conditions were good take the ridge left and after some rock steps to the summit, but we notice due to lack of snow there was a wall to overcome to reach the easy rocks, at that point we decided to return without summiting.
