Description:
Foronon del Buinz is a peak in the Montasio group, on whose summit a splendid bivouac named after Luca Vuerich, great alpinist and mountain guide from Tarvisio who passed away prematurely, has been built. With good snow cover, the peak can be reached on skis via several routes, the simplest but not trivial one is the ascent from F.lla Buinz through Livinal Buinz, or as in our case following part of the route to F.ca de La Val, then deviating towards F.lla Riomoz. The view from the summit is spectacular and reaching it is always a great satisfaction, the descent is among the most beautiful in the Montasio group.
