From Sălciua to Vânătare

From the center of Sălciua commune, a picturesque 5 km road takes us above the village to Vânătare, the place where the waters of the 3 streams that carved Huda lui Papară enter the mountain at the base of a limestone cliff. On the way we see the scattered houses of Dumești village. From the altitude of 800m where we leave the cars we can admire Mănăstirea Cuvioasa Paraschiva and Platoul Bedeleu, and in the distance we observe Muntele Mare with snow on the ridge and Scărița-Belioara. Here we put on our backpacks and head towards Cheia.
