Acquaviva Picena (AP) rises on a hill overlooking the Tronto valley landscape, a few kilometers from the Adriatic Sea and San Benedetto del Tronto.
From the mid-hill elevation of the town (359 m a.s.l.), on clear days it is possible to glimpse, besides the highest peak of the Sibillini (Monte Vettore), also the more distant Abruzzese mountains (Gran Sasso, Majella).
