Copiapo is the result of a crazy bet in the heart of the Andes Cordillera: taking MTBs as high as possible on the planet, over 6000 meters altitude!
For a month, Fanny Boissieras, Dimitri Garnier, Pierre Colpin, Titouan Mondet and Alexis Righetti embarked on an extreme out-of-the-ordinary MTB expedition. In total autonomy, without assistance, without oxygen, without guide and without film crew, they faced extreme conditions and managed to hoist their mountain bikes up to over 6000 m in the Andes. Where the air rarefies, oxygen drops below 50%, and every movement becomes a struggle against the elements.
