The Gerardo Sega Klettersteig is an old classic in the Lake Garda region. More precisely, it is located on the eastern slope of the Monte Baldo massif. In April 2022, we took a look at the freshly renovated ferrata. The route is rated B/C difficulty. There are indeed B/C sections, especially in the upper third. Mostly, however, the route does not exceed A/B - B. An additional feature is the approach. Those who do not take the very long ascent from the valley will start at Passo Pozza della Cola or at the Madonna delle Neve chapel. This starts the tour at the highest point and consequently descends for a longer time to reach the entry. On this tour, the actual klettersteig, although very beautiful in places and relatively long, is not necessarily in the foreground. Rather, the landscape through which the climbing system leads impresses.
