This bivouac is positioned on a hillock at the foot of the Asta Sottana, it was built in 1965 and named after the homonymous young mountaineer who died in the mountains two years earlier. It is an excellent panoramic balcony on the Vallone di Vagliotta and the mountains of Sant'Anna di Valdieri, frequented by several herds of chamois.
