From Pian della Casa del Re or where the car is left, follow the dirt road which then becomes the path to Rifugio Remondino. When two wooden bridges are spotted in the stream plain, descend to cross them moving to the right orographic side of the valley, passing under Rifugio Elena. Climb a rocky ridge comfortably to the right, then head south to the evident entrance of the gully where the first part of the ascent will take place (well identifiable by a large boulder at the beginning). To reach the gully entrance, it is also possible to continue to Rifugio Remondino and then cross the stream of Vallone di Nasta, but it could be problematic with a lot of water.
