Right near Bad Rippoldsau-Schapbach lies the idyllic Glaswaldsee in the middle of the Northern Black Forest. From the hiking parking lot, it's about 1 km on foot uphill. Many hiking trails lead from there in all directions. In any case, you shouldn't miss the Glaswaldseeblick viewpoint, from which you can enjoy a great overview of the landscape and the lake high above.
