Description:
By car reach the hamlet of Pianezza (1267 m) in Vilminore di Scalve. The path starts near the church (next to a fountain) and first crosses meadows then approaches a penstock, from where it starts to climb quite steeply reaching 1507 m. From this point the path becomes flat and spectacular leading to the lake and the ruins of the Gleno dam (1534 m), which collapsed on December 1, 1923.
