Yet another backup ascent to Guglielmo due to bad weather, but this time too our home-away-from-home mountain surprised us with its spectacularity.
Ascending from the road left of the gnomes' path, passing malga Casentighe and rif Almici we reached Redentore. From here along the beautiful crest trail, we stopped for picnic at the 13 plants, an ancient hunting post with 13 secular beeches, emanating a magical, druidic atmosphere. Descended to malga Aguina we skirted the homonymous summit, passing roccolo Anessi, an idea of paradise for those who feel part of nature. Resuming the dirt road and some shortcuts, we returned to Zone, covering 17 km in 7.5 hours with total elevation gain of 1350 m.
