Description: The week's weather forecasts announced a window of good weather this morning. At 8:40 we struggle to find a parking spot in Pezzoro. Recent snowfalls and marked avalanche risk in the Alps pushed Brescian ski mountaineers to “Discesù”. We started late; from Malga Pontogna we meet skiers descending, higher up the slopes are already adorned with numerous descent serpentine tracks, the snow is splendid. We reach the summit at 11:20, around “Redentore” there seems to be a real crowded gathering underway. We recognize some illustrious names in alpinism and other mountain sports, but above all we happily meet many companions from past adventures to exchange plans and set new dates. The sky is intensely blue, the well-known panorama from the Apennines to the crown of Alpine peaks is crystal clear and appears very close, only the Po Valley seems a bit muffled. A novelty: the leaden surface of Sebino is stained with a large white square, platforms being prepared for Christo's bridge.
